Cleansing, Confession, Conversion

I want to help someone today who is struggling to do the right thing and be right. I read that a life in Christ as Christians is like a glass mirror. We not only show and reflect the glory of God to the world but we also show the world its’ flawed image. We expose all the defects and attempts to hide the blemishes. That is why the scripture that I am going to share with you is so important today. We have to keep it real and humble ourselves by constantly confessing our sins to God and each other. This helps us renew our fellowship with Christ and show the world where our true identity lies. To live a repentant life before people is a huge and powerful witnessing tool. Everyone can see a fake anyway. Let me answer a few questions for you. Will you sin?... Yep! Will you struggle at times with sin?... YEP! Will others see you out there.. You better believe it! Folks are waiting to see you fall…. How you mess them up is through your apologies and confessions. This is the message of the Gospel.. I know that I am messing someone up right now, so let me get to the chase… Newsflash! People sin….. I sin… But…. I know a Savior! There is a Savior! I dare you to ask God to reveal any and all sin that you may be hiding in your life.. Confess it to HIM and pray for the strength to change.. If you owe someone an apology, do it now. It will take some God given courage to fix some of our messes… Let’s get it right..

Let this scripture be the one to lead to your cleansing, confession, and conversion:

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us. 1 John 1:9
