Come Out From your Hiding Place!

Psalm 139:1-6 For the director of music. Of David. A psalm. You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.

I look around and see so many trying to hide from truth. God is God and HE sees all and knows all. We will answer to HIM. So many hide behind their jobs, their fortune, fame. Some hide behind their titles, social statuses, uniforms, robes, egos, their guilt and so many try to hide their sins. We cover up by quoting scripture, doing deeds with false motives. God is calling and we keep on running.. Trying to hide in clubs and civic organizations.. Trying to hide in denominations… Newsflash… You can run but you can’t hide.. So, let’s stop the shenanigans and pray this prayer with me:

Father God, I have decided to stop running… I realize that I cannot hide from you.. I stand naked in my circumstances and sins… Vulnerable and open. Show me what I really look like. Give me a repentant heart, From this day, I worship you and you alone for YOU ARE GOD! Fix me in Jesus name, Amen.
