GO!

Hey Family,

I was revisiting Matthew 28 and reading the great commission and started to think of all of the times I failed at doing my part. I prayed for God to open the doors for me to share the message and from time to time unconsciously walked away from them. We all have. You can even see it in the Bible where folk got caught up in self and didn’t share God’s message. Jonah did it.. So many times in churches, people allow situations and goings on either put out their fire or kill their enthusiasm for being a witness. I know the "Super Saints" reading this has never been there but I won't lie and say that is me. I had to sit still for a minute. Refocus on the CALL. I had to not pass up on any opportunities that God has placed before me to share HIS word. If on a street corner, a basketball game, the airplane... I have been commissioned to be a witness to God's GREATNESS. I recently was presented with the opportunity to minister in the prison system, locally. The phone is ringing from folks wanting a witness in other states as well. Just to have the opportunity humbles me. I have walked away from overseas opportunities to minister. Hadn't gone out and ministered in song or anything.. Just passing up so many times to be a witness. To the one reading this, who has allowed stuff to limit you or smother your ministry.. Enough is enough. Souls are at stake. Though the Holy Spirit is the one who changes hearts, we play a big part in the process. God allows us to be a difference in the eternal lives of others if we will allow ourselves to be used. Just by being a witness for Christ, we can touch a neighbor or work mate. We should be witnessing to our kids and train them in the ways of the Lord. Tell folks why we have peace in times of storms… Stop worrying about being so politically correct. What God has qualified or ordained, no one can disqualify. Don’t worry about the logistical portion of ministry. The WORD said seek ye first the kingdom of God and HIS righteousness and all these things will be given to you.. That seems to cover the logistics… that kills all of the excuses.. Let’s no longer get so caught up in our earthly concerns that we neglect our kingdom duties.. The word that hit me this morning as God has been placing so many ministry opportunities in front of me was the first word that I read today in the scripture and that word was “GO”.. I want to share that with someone who has been procrastinating or worrying… “GO”… You have been qualified and commissioned ….. GO!

Matthew 28: 19-20

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

I pray that this nourishes someone this morning..

Blessings,

Kai'
