Straight Up!

Was looking at what someone had said to me some time ago. They said the "church" is powerless because no one goes to it like it is a hospital for the spiritually sick. When I was given the vision for the Rock of Refuge, I was being shown a place to serve as a hospital and place of safety for those in need of the Lord. The word on the streets are there are very few churches in existence like that in our communities anymore. They are just places to gather socially, check the block that you’ve been, or look for a good guy or girl. Not a holy place that stands on biblical truths. Today, we are told that we must tolerate so much stuff or we are considered to be dogmatic. Well as I look at it, I see a simple solution for us Christians. Teach absolute moral truth with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. I believe this will make sinners see a need for a savior. We are too busy watering the gospel down to put folks at ease. That is why alters are so empty nowadays. Folks are pleased with the skin that they are in. Even if it covered in sin. Certain sins are untouchable. Don’t talk about adultery, fornication, homosexuality or addiction. If you do, you’re being dogmatic, judgmental or intolerant. Yeah right, but you can speak prosperity every day. Christians leave and empty the churches that refuse to believe in absolute moral truth. If our churches seem to be emptying out, let us start to evaluate the situation. Or if it seems like folks that want to live Holy lives are being replaced by people who choose to live life on their own terms, let’s look at this thing. Not saying that we should judge folks, but we can judge the fruit. Their lifestyle, their family life, their children, their ministry…Love and acceptance for the sinner (includes sinning Christians), but speaking against the sin IS A MUST.. Though Jesus spoke love, HE offended many. Let’s make a pact to serve the full gospel. What is pleasing to our ears as well as the ones that make us say ouch! Like I said I want my gospel 100 proof and not watered down… Straight up!
