I want to encourage someone today who may be feeling left out there or feeling abandoned. I know that feeling of putting your trust and confidence in people and when you need them the most they dipped on you. You know those folks who told you that they had your back.. The one who said that they’d love you till the end of the earth. The one who called you his dawg or the girl who said she was your chick.. Well, you know where I’m going with this.. Paul called out a time when those who was supposed to have his back, they dipped on him. They didn’t just not stand with him in “ride or die” mode, they walked out on him.. Anyone ever been there before? Well Paul didn’t trip because in him being abandoned, God gave him a testimony. He didn’t even get mad at Kats for leaving… He learned that when no one else will stick it out with him, when no one else would stand with him, The Lord will and do it with the quickness! Then Paul later stated that the Lord gave him strength.. Not just any strength. He used the Greek term endunamoo which meant that he was empowered with a great inner strength. TNT strength.. See God will come and make you dynamic in such times if you continue to stand. God not only strengthened Paul but he did so with Timothy as well. He will do the same for you.. You may be feeling abandoned, and forsaken by those who you thought would stick it out.. They left but don’t trip.. God needed them to leave room for HIM to stand by your side… Not sure why I am going this way but I will continue.. Someone going through a tough sickness who may be reading this… Those who promised to be with you through this thing that you are facing.. They left you. May have even used the excuse that they cannot bare watching you suffer any longer.. Or they just flat out lied about being true to you… It doesn’t matter.. Don’t let it sour you.. God needed that room to be with you and to give you that endunamoo… That “TNT” type of strength.. He needed room to provide you comfort and show you what REAL love is… Just call on HIM to stand by your side.. HE won’t dip on you.. For the one who was left holding the emotional baggage from the one who said they loved you more than life itself and they left… God will occupy that space for you and do it well…. Just call on HIM.
