When I was a little kid, my grandmother Bessie, would be chewing out my mother or some of the other adults who though that they had all the answers and she'd tell them when they were wrong. One of her sayings was "right is right and wrong is wrong.. Plain and simple!".. We live in a society where it seems that being virtuous, sweet,and honest is looked down upon. Folks are attracted to ill behaviors, wild lifestyles, and would rather be labeled a thug over a saint. We'd rather be a loud mouth than a quiet soul. Would rather people fear us than truly respect us. Rather mean mug someone that we approach over saying hi before they even open their mouths to speak to you. We live comfortably in sin because it is so easy to say that “we are all sinners”.. Saying this, makes us living outside of what God says permissible nowadays.. Well, the BOOK is the standard and God will measure us all.. I really cannot imagine HIM giving a pass or grading on a curve… Either we choose to live right or we choose to live wrong.. My prayer today is Lord please clean me up and help me to deal with such people. The ones who think that wrong is right. Don't allow me to be drawn to what the world finds attractive. I'd rather be your child than be a slave to this world. Nuff said.. That's my nugget. Stop trying to make wrong right and right wrong.. Like my grandma would say, Right is Right and wrong is wrong.. Meditate on this scripture: Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.. Psalm 73:13
