Stop Playing The Game...

I want to talk to my young people this morning. I had you on my mind and wanted to see if we could vibe. So many of you know of God and have either read of heard of HIS promises and yet you keep playing this game with him and his feelings. In HIS WORD it states that it is his desire that none be lost. HE even sacrificed his son for us all, yet the game is constantly played. He reveals HIMSELF to you and you tend to only want him when storms come or when pain is in your life. I thought of the game of when kids go to a house and leave a bag of dog poop at the door on fire, ring the door bell and the owner comes out to greet the unknown visitor and finds a bag of fire at the door. They quickly without thinking stomp out the fire to find it was a bag of poop and a game played by some very disrespectful kids. Sooner or later they sometimes develop a bad taste for kids in general. Isn't that like some of us? We run to God knock on HIs door with our tears and pain.. Promise to live our lives for HIm and when he shows up you run away, leaving him all of your crap. Hopefully HE doesn't develop a bad taste for us. Why play the game? God makes HIMSELF accessible and yet his feelings are being toyed with. How many of you use this great venue of Facebook to share Christ or are you simply here looking for a boo or drying out your dirty laundry? I'm talking to those of you who once said "Lord, I surrender or Lord I need you... Lord Help me!". There is a scripture that lets us know that God has given us access to HIM. Here it is:" And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." He again and again comes to your rescue and you run away back to gather some more crap to dump on HIM. We need to Know that He not only will bless, but He will judge and punish.. He is not the one.... This isn't a sunshine and daisies type of post.. I just want to say, Stop playing with God..
