A lesson on mountains and valleys

I was in Mark 9 and after being in the valley for 6 days, Jesus took Peter, James and John and led them up on a mountain. Up there they got to witness the transfiguration. The disciples enjoyed the experience but soon after was led back down the mountain and back to the business of ministering to the people. I am sure that they would have loved to stay on the mountain but there were folks in need of healing awaiting them as soon as they descended. I want to minister today to the one who considers themselves in life’s valleys right now. You are so much missing the mountain top experience and you are in a hurry to get there. I wanna share this with you and hopefully you can ingest and digest it. When we are on top of the mountain, we feel as if we see things from God’s standpoint. There is very little learning taking place there. We can’t stay there because that is not where we spiritually grow. It is when we are going down the mountain and when we are forced to dwell in the valleys. That is where you minister to others and your true character is built. It is easy to Shout “Glory, Glory” on the mountain top and proclaim “God is Good”. Let’s see you do it in the dark places and dark hours of your life. Folks don’t need to hear from you on the mountain top. We get inspiration on the mountain tops but prove our worth in the valleys. For those who are on the mountain top.. Enjoy it, but know that God is just giving you time to exhale and enjoy the view. Eventually you must go back to the devil possessed valley and help someone get to the top so that they can breathe and also see God’s awesomeness…. Each time you rise you coming up stronger… Wiser… Better and more fit for the next descent. Keep it Moving…
