I want to share a scripture with a believer today who feels “stuck” or like they are a captive or hostage. You may feel like you are stuck in debt, stuck in depression, stuck in a bad relationship, stuck in sickness. So many times we stay captive because we are afraid to see a way out of our situations. We like to sing that song “Break every Chain” but we still remain slaves to our old mindsets, to doing the same ole sinful deeds, and the same ole negative people that we have surrounded ourselves with. The first thing you must do is allow your mind to be free. Stop condemning yourself to your situation.. Stop allowing the toxic mindset of others to be your mindset. We are to strive to have the mindset of Christ. We are to welcome the Spirit of the Lord in our presence and thought processes. So many of you say that you have Jesus. Well,let me help you out. THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN LIVE LIFE WITH A SLAVE MENTALITY IF YOU ARE IN CHRIST! My savior is a liberator! Yes HE IS! Stop making excuses of why you keep doing the same ole negative things.. Stop letting your situations master you. You want peace? You want joy? You want power? You want real Love? I am going to tell you what I told my daughter recently. Stop letting people control how you feel or act.. Stop allowing them to make you lose sleep! All you have to do is LET THE “SON”-SHINE IN… Yeah, you’ve just read it and still missed it.... Look, if you are a believer and have Christ in your life, it is impossible to be in bondage.. The word says that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is LIBERTY… (2 Corinthians 3:17).. So Smile and say this… NO MORE CHAINS HOLDING ME… The girls basketball team had a theme song last year that said “Can’t Hold Us”… You need to let that settle in your spirit.. I HEAR CHAINS FALLING….
