I want to send out a nugget to the one reading this who had begun a great work and for some reason stopped. You may have been chasing a dream and quit because of obstacles or lifes occurrences. You may have been looking at a God given vision and because you didn’t see the logistical means to go forth, you stood and yet stand still. You may have allowed the logic of church folk or educated people to talk you down off of the mountain. You may have let past failures be the reason why you won’t push towards your future successes. I have one word for you and it is an action word this time….. “FINISH!” My daughter recently played in a tournament and she was attempting to all the right things to score at the basket but she just kept missing. I yelled at her that she needs to finish… She wasn’t properly executing at the rim. Something that she has done successfully so many times in her life. She has a history of being a beast around the rim. She then let other stuff get in her head. She stopped being aggressive with the ball in her hand. It affected her defensive play and eventually her total game. Once we got away from it all. I was allowed to paint the picture for her on how she allowed little things to bother and skew her focus. If she had only stayed the course mentally, she would have gone off. I then told her that she has to clear her mind of all doubt and negativity and persevere. I want to say to the one reading this who quit on school, your marriage, your family, your dreams, your ministry, your happiness…… FINISH!!! You can do this!! God has placed you in the perfect place to shine and succeed. He has your back and has empowered you for such a time as this…. Stay in there… Stay positive… Execute…. FINISH!!!
