Protecting the Gift till the proper date

I am trusting that today is the day that I am supposed to send a message out to my youth. On three occasions, I came across messages in reference young people and their purity.. I often tell my young men when it comes to their girlfriends that it is illegal to drive without a proper license. Of course so many have violated that law but there are some out there. One of my people had a song that she entitled, “No free samples.” Still so many disregarded the message. I talk to girls who go to college and come home regretting that they gave in the pressures of their peers or was so hungry for attention. I was talking to my daughter who is a freshman this year. She mentioned the awkwardness of not knowing a lot of people yet. I mentioned that kids spend too much time and energy on wanting popularity and a lot of “friends”. Girls want to be popular with the fellas and guys want to be popular with the girls.. I reiterated to her that there is some attention that they should not be too much in a hurry to get. I talked to a friend who as a kid was standing on his head to find out what a particular gift was that he was getting on Christmas. He sneaked and found out what it was. Initially he was glad to see but when Christmas day arrived, it took all of the excitement out of his day because he already knew what the big box contained. Ladies and gentleman, save the package for the proper date of opening.. So many of you are willing to do whatever in order for extra attention.. There is even a price to pay for this sin.. Saying that, if you truly love yourself, what is the price that you place on your innocence?
I really hope that this message reaches someone before they allow the gift to be opened prematurely.
