Protecting The House From The Inside Out

Today, my prayer is twofold. I am praying for our young folks. I was riding with my youngest a while back and really painting the picture of the enemy’s attempts to kill them off. He is getting at them at a rapid rate. Parents are sleeping on the tactics and are walking around like all is well. IT IS NOT WELL! Every week I hear of some child committing suicide because of “bullying”. Children are listening to the voices of others, telling them to kill themselves… Evil is ever present in our schools and we downplay it so much. How is it that we are seeing so many "Christian kids" perform so many evil acts? We don’t encourage our Christian kids to be Christians.. We want them to be scholars and athletes but don’t stress the need for them to be “REAL CHRISTIANS”… To those of us who have been called to minister to them and our young adults, we are more into how many show up to our meetings and services… We are caught up in how to keep them entertained.. We have them in our Bible studies and in our step teams, choirs, and dance groups… They are there religiously but we aren’t really focused on truly molding the clay into solid Christians… Most of our young folks come to church and never truly get to know Christ… We aren’t working on how to introduce them to HIM…. When I look at my youth and young adults, I am looking for the light of Christ shining in them. I don’t want cute church folks. Not trying to put together the “hypest” youth and young adult group. I want them to LIVE.. Not just exist.. I want them to know that evil really exists and knowing who God is for themselves. I want their worship to be for real and not a theatrical show… So tired of seeing that stuff. Church folks so many times see theatrics as a move of the Holy Ghost… Give me a break! The proof is in the pudding.. Look at our society. Look closely at our young folks… Not trying to exclude the older folks, because we are even more jacked up. The mere thought of my young folks not making it brought me to tears the other day. I love them more than they know. I want to see the real thing working in and around them. I don’t care how cute they are and theatrics won’t impress God. I want them to accept who they are in Christ, Embrace it, nurture their spiritual gifts, protect them from all evil, and let their lights shine bright. Without embarrassment of shame. Every good thing working in them came from God and for that they should never try to cover their lights in order to fit in with people… Lord, I pray that you adjust our mindsets as leaders this morning and regulate the minds of our young folks so that we can not only serve you right but survive.. We have been letting the adversary kill us from the inside out. WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE!!!! Strengthen us and minister to us RIGHT NOW… This is my sincere petition, prayed in the matchless name of Jesus the Christ. AMEN
