Today I kinda was led to bounce around in my WORD and with all that is going on in and around my life, I heard a word that just said to “remain true.” Regardless of how you are looked upon, remain true. Don’t try to be a daredevil or play the role of a super saint… Remain true. Don’t allow tradition to bind you or create a barrier between you and the spirit of GOD… Just remain true. I looked at Abraham and I looked at Peter. Peter wanted to come off as a super saint. Saying things that he thought that would sound good to Jesus, before his brothers. He said to Jesus that he’d do anything, even go to death with him, but when the heat was turned up, he punked out. He didn’t stay true. You shouldn’t have to broadcast your work, the evidence of it will speak for you. Abraham didn’t make any crazy declarations about being a super saint but when God told him to sacrifice his son, he didn’t talk about it, he was prepared to act on faith. I’m sure he was hurting on the inside but he was willing to obey. If you remain true to God he will guide you through the tough times and choices that are to come. Don’t talk about it… Just be about it. God will sometimes have you step outside of your boxes, do things that break tradition, put you on your heels and all you have to do is remain true. When you come through the place that HE instructs you, there will be a better knowledge of just who GOD is and how awesome HE is.. I am a living witness. I am in a place in my life where I feel like God has me out there. Doing work outside of my area of comfort. I would like to be in another place because I feel like it would take some of life’s heat off of me but I’ve learned in this walk to listen, go as HE says and do as HE says. It still hurts to be misunderstood by my brothers and sisters but at the end of the day my greatest concern is if God is pleased with me. He hasn’t left me and HE has placed HIS hand on all that I have attempted for HIM. What more can I ask for? I am so tired of seeing “For Show Saints”.. The ones who seem to be more interested in being glorified by man and seen every time they do anything that they call ministry.. You’ve taken a God given anointing and made it about you. SHAME ON YOU!! I read a recent message by Lamar Campbell ( I like that Brother) and it was so on point. Calling out folks who operate under the wrong motives. Well, I want to be and help bring up a breed of “For Sure Saints” Not in it for fame or fortune, but the glory of God. I may never be BIG Time as some would like to think they are. That’s cool. I just want God to be pleased. You don’t have to see my every deed. God will. You may not like me but God loves me… To the one reading this, just trust GOD and don’t worry how it looks to others..Your character will speak for you…. Don’t trip on how others view you. It’s what God sees, that matters. That is a lesson that I had to learn. How does God see your character? Not man…
