I tend to revert back to love in my nuggets because it is truly a commandment that WE ALL have struggled with. I am talking about a love that makes you sacrifice your very own being. Is this possible for you to accomplish this on your own? I don’t care what no church folks say…. The answer is NO! Jesus said to his disciples to love one another as HE has loved us. That is how the real disciples will be recognized. Not by how much you spit and slobber around the alter on Sundays or how good of a hoop line you have in your message. I know that hurt someone’s little feelings. Don’t blame me.. I didn’t write the book. The only way that we can truly love as Christ loves is that HE be in us. Just as HE remains in the Father’s love. This is not an option… Ya heard me? It is the Love of Christ which allows us to get rid of pride and self and truly love those who do not love us in return. This again, is what will define who the real disciples are. You don’t get to pick your sheep, Pastors.. Ministers, your job is to be a servant.. You don’t get to pick those that you are to serve. That is all orchestrated by God. If you aren’t truly loving folks, you cannot produce or shall I say reap real love in your lives. Christ made the ultimate sacrifice.. Could you? Not without Him being in you. Saying that, I don’t care what your title is. You can be the Grand Poobah. You are not a disciple of Christ without real sacrificial love being in you… Is you is? Or Is You Aint? HIS disciple… Here is today’s scripture: Chew slowly and taste it all… I message from my Valentine.. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
