We All Must Suffer

I want to talk on the topic of suffering today. None of us want to do it but let’s face it; we all experience it from time to time. I read Peters words today and want to share them with you. You can either suffer doing good or you can suffer doing bad. Either way, you will have to suffer some times. Some of our sufferings come from our rebellious deeds while others come naturally. Especially, because we choose to walk with the Lord. You know the world despises HIS followers. I will say this about my sufferings… They have done such things as educate me, made me stronger, pushed me along my way, and given me insight. I may have not liked them but they were mine. Your sufferings will come whether you are doing right or not.. You may be able to possibly avoid some sufferings by doing nothing at all. Before you get all excited about that option let me paint this picture. Think of the creatures that are birthed through cocoons. They are not intended to stay in there forever. The process for them is a combination of rest, struggle, healing, maturing and transformation. All the while becoming more beautiful. If the insect does not go through the full process, when the cocoon breaks, it will be too weak to fly. Saying this, let your suffering be the source of your emergence. Let it transform you into something strong and beautiful. It will give you a share of the inheritance of Christ and better prepares you to minister to others with clout.

Chew on this: For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil 1 Peter 3:17

Bless You,

Kai
