Who Are You Rallying Around?

I was reading 2 Chronicles 35 and out came today’s nugget. It talked about King Josiah. Someone who dared to do what God wanted him to do. One who didn’t make excuses or exception. When he took over as King he commanded his people to celebrate the Passover to the Lord for the first time in a long time. His compassion and commitment to the Lord was viral.. It moved his people to live holy and righteous lives. It made those who didn’t want to live holy want to stay out of his way. See we need to understand that righteous living is contagious. Just like evil is contagious. WATCH WHO YOU CHILL WITH ON THE REGULAR! What they have in them will jump on you before you know it. Josiah’s holy lifestyle and ways motivated the priests and Levites to rally. All of Judah and Israel came together and was once again a powerful nation. See when we huddle under the right leadership, we win. Again, if the leadership doesn’t point in God’s direction, you are being led the wrong way and you are on the wrong team. During Josiah’s life, the folks lived their lives committed to the Lord and they were united and powerful. After the king died, four godless kings followed and Judah was brought to ruin. My question is today, who are you rallying around? What contagion do you carry? Holiness or unrighteousness?

Bless You,

Kai'
