WHY GOD MAY HAVE SAID "NO!"

Hey family,

Have you ever had associates who come across as being so self seeking? I have. There have been folks who I have known who aren’t genuine in their friendship. They always have a what can I get out of this attitude. I knew a pastor who stopped picking up lesser fortunate members on Sundays because he couldn’t see what they could do for him. Now that was an extreme example but we all probably know folks who smile in your face, use you for what you have or could do and if they had the chance would bury you in order to get ahead. Ever been thrown under the bus by a “friend”? So many of us approach God in the same manner. Our prayers and motives for what we are paying for are so self seeking. Then when God says no we want to say that HE isn’t real or doesn’t care for us. Throwing a tantrum like a five year old in a grocery store, when Mommy won’t get him a lollipop. We need to focusing on trying to live more seeking the will of God. If in HIS will we will ask for the right stuff and HE will be more than willing to grant those desires. Don’t trip because this isn’t easy because our nature is a selfish one.
Let’s be willing to allow God to take us through the process of living right for HIM. And guess what? The process will lasts until HE calls us home. For the one belly aching because God hasn’t granted you what you asked for in a selfish prayer, read this:

James 4:3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Bless you!
