I want to give a word of encouragement to the one who feels marginalized or criticized. You did nothing wrong yet, someone went all out to make you feel unwelcomed, or persecuted. Don’t worry. We will always find folks who want to find fault in us and criticize when we don’t apparently fit into their mold. I have struggled with that over the years. I often asked the Lord why when I all I wanted to do is be a blessing or to do well. That is just the nature of some folks.. They criticize or they just cannot be content. They don’t want to do the work but they do want to tell you how to do it and what you are doing wrong. If they don’t approach you then they gather a lynch mob to get it done. I am so thankful for the WORD of God. Through reading it, I have learned that HE is there for me. My lord understands what it is like to be mistreated and criticized for no real reason. To have folks flake on you for selfish reasons. Christ went to the cross under such circumstances. Just look to the Lord! Let’s face it, when we are trying to do right, it is hard to continue when it seems folks are fault finding. My prayer for you is that you have the “I’m rubber, you’re glue” mentality and to press on. God knows….. Just ask HIM to strengthen you. He will do it!
