My nugget for today is for those that are feeling swamped by your problems or situations. We tend to let “things” alter our focus. So much to the point to where we become blinded to just how awesome and capable God is. We tend to not see HIM as a trouble settler, a provider, a healer, a way maker… I was driving home the other week and looked at the beautiful landscape of the country along with the awesome colors that the sky had that day. I was like WOW… Look at God! First who woulda thought that this kid from the projects would be living in such a beautiful place. Then I was like Look at the handwork of God.. It was such a beautiful scene. We need to often stop in our tracks, look at the sky and all of God’s creations around us and marvel at just how GREAT HE IS!!! Hopefully it will snap us back to reality that nothing is too hard for HIM. If HE can sling the stars in the sky, surely HE can take care of little ole me…
A short prayer for us to pray today: Lord, open my eyes, that I might see all that this world is meant to be. Do not let the pressures of the day create a cloud that prevents me from seeing Your beauty.. AMEN..
