A change in plans

Hey Fam,

I was reading my Word this morning and went back to times when I called myself working my “Master Plan”.. Yeah Me, Eric B and Rakim….LOL…I can look back over my life and see so many times that I’ve made plans to do something and they never worked out or something would happen so that I could not follow through with them.. That was nothing but God Looking out for me.. I remember the get rich quick plans… How can I flip this dollar and ease my financial woes… Never did I go to God on them and they always tended to blow up in my face or failed for some reason. They always had some selfish thing in them that either caused for me to do wrong or someone wrong. God was nowhere in the equation. I’ve also seen and have heard of folks who have made plans in order to hinder my ministry and the things that God has given me to do. When I stayed out of the way, God had a way of thwarting them and making the adversary look really bad in the midst of it all. This is for the one reading this who has been working on their life’s “Master Plan”. If God hasn’t orchestrated it, you are in for a big disappointment. Your degrees don’t validate you and make you all that smart. Not in the sight of God. Your thoughts are simply futile. Listen, He has a Plan in store just for you. It most likely is not even remotely close to what you have perceived. Know that HIS way is best and that there is no way that you can do it better than HE can.. Proverbs 21:31 says, There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD. So many want to claim to be so wise but if God hasn’t granted this wisdom, there is no wisdom there. Read 1 Corinthians 3:19-20 (yeah, I’m calling for you to use your Bibles today).. So the next time your plans go bad, don’t let it bother you all that much. Go to the Master planner. Thank HIM… Why? So glad you asked… He opposed your plans in order to protect you from the outcome of them…
