I was revisiting Lazarus this morning and as I went through the story, today's nugget came to me. I know we often use the saying Blessings delayed don't mean blessings denied. I recall how the disciples wanted Christ to be in a hurry to the aid of Lazarus but Jesus just took HIS time. I recall HIM saying to them that Lazarus was dead and that he was glad about it. He said that it would be for the sake of their belief. He knew that if He could show them that no situation is a dead situation unless HE declares it. This is just like us. We get caught up in what we are doing, where we are and what we are going through to the point that we forget what Jesus is doing and what HE can do. So many times we are allowed to go through things so that HE can prove exactly how limitless HIS power is. Someone reading this... Pump your brakes... Here is the nugget. Your situation may stink like death.. Look like death.. You may feel like you are dying or the that cause that you were fighting for is a lost cause... Chances are it is all being done for the sake of your belief. Though God has delayed it, HE hasn't denied it... Trust in how God chooses to answer your prayers.. HE is working on building your faith.. Stop limiting HIS ability to bring you out and place you on top. Shout a shout of victory right where you are.. Even louder if you are finding yourself on the bottom or in what seems to be a dead state or situation.
